Default Need help with my build..

So i quit playing for over a year, and all of my previously saved builds are gone.

I'm W/E or W/Mo (BAH!)

I only have factions and prophecies at the moment.

I have an awesome hammer, and am working on my sword.

For PvE, what should i do? I dont even know what skills to use these days, or even which weapon.

I'm similarly lost on PvP.

Currently, this is my hammer build.

15 hammer
10 Strength

Sorry i dont know how to link the skill bars like everyone else, new to the forums lol

Backbreaker
Leviathan's Sweep
Crushing Blow
Yeti Smash
Mighty Blow
Berserker Stance
"For Great Justice!"
Res Sig

I'm not even using my secondary. I feel like i do decently, but i cant help but feel like im definitely missing something. Help me utilize my secondaries?

You don't need secondary skills, especially in PvE. So don't at all feel handicapped by going all-Warrior.

You have Factions, so you should take [skill]Save Yourselves![/skill] (the very reason most PvE melees go /W). In light of this [skill]for great justice[/skill] is definitely a keeper. If you wanna be a PvE Hammer guy, nothing beats [skill]earth shaker[/skill]. Just remember to get that Stonefist Rune.

Hammer Mastery:13 (12+1) (or you can go to 14 with a major)

Flail
Rush
Resurrection Signet

Umm... might I offer you a cookie?

edit: anyho, the old shockaxe template is arguably the strongest PvP warrior build and can be run with only Prophecies skills.
[build prof=W/E name="ShockAxe" box axe=12+1+1 str=12+1 air=3 desc="Weapon #1: VampiricAxe Axe{br}Weapon #2: Zealous Axe{br}Weapon #3: Sundering Axe{br}Weapon #4: Furious Spear"][Eviscerate][Executioner's Strike][Bull's Strike][Disrupting Chop][Shock][Frenzy][Rush][Resurrection Signet][/build]

In PvP, the shock axe template is probably the most versatile.

However, if you realy want a hammer build for PvP, something like :

[build prof=W ham=12+2 str=12+1][devastating hammer][crushing blow][fierce blow][bull's strike][frenzy][rush][for great justice][resurrection signet][/build]

will do just fine, and never forget stonefist insignia when using hammers.

Is there a certain armor that you think would be best for a hammer war?

I have dread and gladiators but can get something else (prophecies and factions only though)

highly depends on your type of build.

If you need extra energy, you'll be fitting in some radiant insignia or attunement runes.

If you're ok with your standard energy pool, survivor's or dreadnought's insignia (if you have 13 strength) are good.
Which one you use is personnal preference. Keep in mind that you'll lose the dread AL bonus when weakened (unless you run 14 strength) and not all damage takes armor into account. On the other hand, anyone with half a brain will attack you with elemental damage, so the +20AL can come in realy useful.

Make a PvP warrior and try out the different armor bonusses and see what fits you best. That being said, it's usually better to create a PvP character when you're starting out, that way you can easily adapt/modify as you move on and learn more.

I forget where but Holymasamune pointed out that fierce blow requires the same amount of hits that mighty blow takes to charge. Also why would you take a skill that is conditional on weakness for the same amount of damage?
Mighty Blow>Fierce blow

If you're going to stick with hammer, [Earth shaker]+[whirlwind attack](which you don't have since you don't have nf)+[crude swing] and stonefist insignia is ftw

You've got Sentinels confused with Dreadnoughts. Dreadnoughts is an unconditional +10 vs. Elemental. @OP you'll want survivor for PvP, the health is good to protect against spikes.

For PvE stuff, just read my guide, it's stickied at the top of the Warrior forum.
